“SIG” stands for “Special Interest Group”, referring to a particular niche area of the modelling hobby. IMPS Birmingham UK is proud to be involved with a number of SIGs, and some of our members have even founded their own group based on their particular interests within the hobby.
The best place to see many of the Special Interest Groups and meet their dedicated members is of course at Scale ModelWorld each year, although some SIGs do display at other shows and events locally throughout the year.
