Our club is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, who keep everything going on behalf of our members. We are small but enthusiastic team! Find out a little more about each of us below; who we are, what we do, and our areas of modelling interest. To get in touch, please us the Contact Us page.

Chair: Gem Atherton
About Me: I live in Halesowen with two rowdy parrots called “Jaffa” (a blue & gold macaw) and “Captain” (an African Grey). I work full time as a Falconer at The Falconry Centre, Hagley, so it’s fair to say I’m a bird who loves birds! I am also SIG Leader for “The Really Wild SIG”, specialising in animals and nature.
Modelling Subjects: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Animals, Nature, 3D printing, and ruining perfectly good 1:72 scale aircraft when given the opportunity.

Newsletter Editor: martin deakins
About Me: I’m a certified Cat-Dad, Sci-Fi geek, Petrol-Head and biker living in Dudley. I’m also a Military Kid, which is probably why I’m also an amateur history buff. I work in the civil engineering sector and like to pretend I’m not actually getting any older…
Modelling Subjects: I’m something of a magpie, having dabbled enthusiastically in almost every subject, but I have a particular fascination with Naval History and so ships are my most common subject, with sci-fi being another favourite. I’m a life-member of the Hairy Stick Brigade.
